Dynamics 365 Finance — ERP Implementation & Modernization
Real-time financial
visibility.
For mid-market manufacturers and distributors still working around a legacy ERP (Dynamics AX, SAP, Oracle, or another on-premise system), Dynamics Synergy implements Dynamics 365 Finance without stopping the business while the work is underway.
Overview
What is Dynamics 365
Finance?
Dynamics 365 Finance is Microsoft's enterprise finance platform: general ledger, payables and receivables, fixed assets, cash and bank management, budgeting, tax, multi-entity consolidation, and financial reporting on a single cloud data model. Paired with Supply Chain Management, finance and operations share one item master and one ledger.
For companies still running Dynamics AX 2009 or AX 2012, migration is scoped around what's already there: chart of accounts, customizations, and integrations. For SAP, Oracle, or another on-premise ERP, the same assessment-first approach applies, typically with more integration and data-migration work.
Finance is built for companies with real entity and operational complexity: multiple legal entities, currencies, or sites that need to consolidate. Single-entity businesses moving off QuickBooks or Sage are usually better served by Business Central, a lighter-weight implementation designed for that stage of growth.

From first conversation to go-live
1
Assessment & scoping
2–4 weeks. Current-state review, process and data assessment, integration inventory, and a costed plan.
